The Malaysian Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) has officially issued a Letter of Acceptance ( Surat Setuju Terima or SST) to MBDA France for the procurement of the VL MICA surface-to-air missile (SAM) system. The agreement was finalized during the opening day of the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 in the United Kingdom. A formal contract is still pending.
