KLSU-FM (91.1 FM) is the student-run radio station of Louisiana State University, serving the Baton Rouge area with a diverse range of programming. As a college radio station, KLSU provides a platform for students to gain hands-on experience in broadcasting, content creation, and station management.
The station caters to the LSU community and the broader Baton Rouge audience with a variety music format and specialty shows covering topics such as sports, culture, society, health and wellness, entertainment news, and lifestyle segments. KLSU's programming aims to engage listeners with event coverage, government announcements, legal and policy updates, opinion pieces, and in-depth coverage of evolving stories.
With a broadcast range extending up to 40 miles beyond the LSU campus, KLSU plays a vital role in keeping the local community informed and entertained. As one of the 700 college radio stations contributing to the College Music Journal, KLSU also serves as a platform for discovering and promoting new and emerging musical talents.
