The New England Patriots saw its fair share of injuries last season, seeing some key names go down, which left the club in rough shape for much of the 2023 campaign.

The NFL is expected to release the full 2024 schedule later tonight, which will at least provide a roadmap for how the upcoming regular season will play out.

The NFL appeared to put the Patriots in a situation where there will be a Bill Belichick reference to kick off the 2024 season.

The roadmap for the upcoming regular season was released league-wide on Wednesday night, with the NFL announcing the full slate of games this fall for every team.

Looking at the schedule, the first 5 games are very tough. I see 1-4, maybe even 0-5 to start. Joe Burrow to start at Cincy is a tough hill to climb for the opener. SEA at home is a winnable game, but that depends upon how quickly the Offense gels.

The key question in the coming months is going to be when rookie quarterback Drake Maye will be ready to start, with the rookie likely facing a long road before he sees any NFL regular season action.
