Sycamore Video

Sycamore Video is a student-run media organization at Indiana State University that provides hands-on experience in video production and television broadcasting. It serves as a platform for students, particularly those in the Department of Communication, to hone their skills in creating professional-quality video content.

The organization produces a variety of weekly programs that air on the university's campus cable channel, catering to diverse interests and topics. These include news programs like "This Week at ISU," a traditional newscast, and "Almost Live," a talk show featuring campus personalities. Sycamore Video covers a wide range of themes, including sports, entertainment news, government and politics, family and relationships, and health and wellbeing.

In addition to their regular programming, Sycamore Video hosts an annual event called the Sycamore Video Expo, which is a short film festival open to all Indiana State University students. Submitted videos are judged by a panel, and the winners are awarded the coveted Woody Award during the Expo.
