The Kreitzer-Gould musical will take its final bow on Broadway this weekend.

Full of gloriously catchy melodies like “Shy” and “In a Little While,” the musical first premiered in 1959, with music by Mary Rodgers, lyrics by Marshall Barer, and book by Jay Thompson, Dean Fuller, and Marshall Barer. Declared a “Critic’s Pick” during its record-breaking run this year, as the highest-grossing show to date for City Center’s Encores! series, The New York Times raved, “Sutton Foster makes a banquet of the material…with infectious gusto. Her glee in taking possession of the stage creates an all-encompassing manic energy that both the audience and her scene partners feed off.” New York Magazine wrote that Foster’s “escalating feats of strength, flexibility, and musicality, are sure to get the heart pumping and the crowd laughing. Let these weirdos rule the kingdom!”

Danielle Wirsansky, as part of the Elie Wiesel Social Action Fellowship, is spearheading the creation and production of a compelling musical, in partnership with White Mouse Theatre Productions, aimed at Holocaust education and countering anti-Semitism.

In April 1999, a six-year-old was allowed to watch the 1997 classic Titanic on a VHS after her mom taped it off of HBO. Over the years, she went through various stages of obsession, including watching it every day, memorizing it, and making it a part of her personality – so much so that she created her own version to watch that runs at a mere 1 hour and 45 minutes. This is a shortened, comedic solo reenactment of that version in which one performer plays all the parts and the scenes are selected at random. You'll laugh, you’ll cry, your heart will go on (even though Jack’s does not)! Created and performed by Alice Fishbein, and directed by Ryan Lind.
