As we head into the weekend, we won’t ditch the rain completely even though the weekend as a whole will be drier. The rain that has been around all day will continue to move through the Valley late tonight into Saturday morning.
A wet start to the morning for much of the Valley as the remnants of Hurricane Francine continues to sweep bands of rain into the area. It won’t quite be a washout today or tomorrow, but be prepared for scattered showers and storms at times.
There are no major changes to the forecast as we get set for the weekend. Mostly sunny skies with highs ranging between 88 to 93 degrees are on the docket both Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows for the weekend will be in the 65 to 70 degree range.
he Valley was definitely on the warmer side today with our afternoon/evening highs reaching the mid to upper 80s which is about 10-12 degrees above average for this time of year. Not much in the way of sunshine for the Valley this weekend as the clouds that built into the area yesterday are here to stay. Temperatures will be mild/seasonable this weekend with highs in the upper 50s to mid-60s and Sunday morning lows in the mid-40s to low 50s.
Grab the coat before you head out the door again this morning as temperatures are in the low 30s across the Valley. Breezy winds out the east are making it feel a bit cooler this morning as well. Today will be a great day to get out and get any of that last-minute Christmas shopping done as the Valley will stay dry with an abundance of sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 50s.
