The heat and humidity we have seen all week continues this weekend in the Valley with one slight difference as rain returns to the forecast.

Well the brief fall-like weather the Valley saw this weekend was nice while it lasted because temperatures are going to be on the rise the next few days. The Valley stays quiet and pleasant this evening as temperatures cool back to the 70s.

As we head into the weekend, we won’t ditch the rain completely even though the weekend as a whole will be drier. The rain that has been around all day will continue to move through the Valley late tonight into Saturday morning.
A wet start to the morning for much of the Valley as the remnants of Hurricane Francine continues to sweep bands of rain into the area. It won’t quite be a washout today or tomorrow, but be prepared for scattered showers and storms at times.
There are no major changes to the forecast as we get set for the weekend. Mostly sunny skies with highs ranging between 88 to 93 degrees are on the docket both Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows for the weekend will be in the 65 to 70 degree range.
he Valley was definitely on the warmer side today with our afternoon/evening highs reaching the mid to upper 80s which is about 10-12 degrees above average for this time of year. This evening and tonight expect clear skies and calm conditions, which is great news for any high school football games or other outdoor events.
After the above-average heat this past weekend, the Valley will finally see the return of more seasonable weather today. Temperatures are in the upper 50s to low 60s this morning with partly cloudy skies. The clouds begin to decrease in the afternoon, granting some peaks of sunshine as highs approach the upper 70s.
