The Veterans Healing Farm is a nonprofit that works to enhance the mental, emotional and physical well-being of veterans and their families through community events, workshops and agritherapy (farming and gardening as therapy).

On Thursday and Friday, November 14 and 15, Wortham Center for the Performing Arts presents performances by the American Ballet Theatre (ABT) Studio Company, an 85-year-old cultural institution in dance.

In November, Asheville Gallery of Art (AGA) invites those wishing to support artists to visit its online store. The gallery did not sustain serious damage from Hurricane Helene, but like many other Asheville businesses, remains closed for the time being as water and other issues are resolved.

During the month of November, Woolworth Walk will dedicate its FW Gallery Featured Artist Space to artists directly impacted by Hurricane Helene. Art pieces will be available for purchase and the public is encouraged to visit, call or email the gallery in order to support artists directly.

The Blue Ridge Music Trails will host a benefit concert featuring Unspoken Tradition Thursday, November 14, at 7 p.m. at White Horse Black Mountain. The public is invited to attend and support WNC’s traditional music artists post-Hurricane Helene.
