After the quarterly results were declared, Rategain Travel Technologies' share price peaked on the NSE by 4.11% to Rs 854 apiece, the highest level since July 30.

The Nifty 50 ended 0.03% lower at 24,141.30, and the Sensex ended 0.01% higher at 79,496.15.

The NSE Nifty 50 ended 1.07% down at 23,840.35, the lowest level since June 25. The BSE Sensex ended 1.03% down at 78,675.18, the lowest level since Aug. 6.

Samvardhana Motherson International share price fell 3.44% to Rs 160.33 apiece, the lowest level since June 10.

Nifty 50 and Sensex are trading 0.71% and 0.58% down, respectively around noon, after paring some losses from the days low.

All the 12 sectoral indices on the NSE ended lower, with the Nifty PSU Bank and Realty declining the most.

NTPC, Power Grid and Tata Motors also weighed on the NSE Nifty 50.

Analysts expect the higher spend in marketing and advertising will drive volume growth for Eicher Motors.
