Hit-or-miss storms and muggy heat will stick around throughout your First Alert Forecast. Today and tonight, some showers and thunderstorms may pop up earlier than usual. If a storm moves over your neighborhood, it can cool things down for a while, but places that stay dry will still get hot, with temperatures in the low 90s. Because the air is so humid, it will feel closer to the low 100s. Wednesday brings another round of scattered storms, especially in the afternoon and evening. This will keep air temperatures in the low 90s, although it may feel like 100 to 105 degrees in some spots. Later this week, slightly drier weather could cause temperatures to reach the mid-90s, but it will not last long. Storm chances look higher again on Sunday and Monday, bringing high temperatures back into the low 90s.

This will cause a brief drop in temperatures with highs in the 80s for the start of next week. Temperatures will quickly rebound into the 90s as conditions dry out by the middle of the week.
