We're lacking snow this winter, but some accumulations are likely soon. The bulk of the storm system will miss the FOX 47 viewing area to the north, but a few slushy inches are possible.

The wild weather is continuing across our neighborhoods in mid-Michigan. We'll likely witness one of, if not the biggest, temp drop ever recorded in Michigan into Wednesday

Temperatures could plummet more than 50 degrees in 24 hrs. Some areas will have a feels like of 74 degrees Tuesday then a feels like of 4 by Wednesday afternoon. Down we go.

Temperatures soared and broke records numerous times. Not just for the daytime highs but the warm nights were record breaking as well.

In one month the skies will darken in the middle of the afternoon as the moon passes between the earth and the sun. The experience you receive will depend on where you are in mid-Michigan!

Cold air spills into Michigan complete with snow after record warmth

As a very cold late season storms system rolls through Michigan, parts of the state could be buried in a fresh two feet of snow. It goes to show that warm winters can still produce cold springs.

A mere 100 miles south of our viewing area is under a severe weather threat. This includes strong, long-track tornadoes, as well as damaging wind gusts and very large hail. No threat to Michigan.
