USA – FCA US LLC (“Stellantis North America”) of Auburn Hills, Michigan has opened orders for the model year 2027 ‘Ram 2500 Power Wagon', an offroad pickup range which is being offered with a 6.7-litre Cummins engine for the first time.

The company board of managing directors, in agreement with the group works council, is expanding its offer of partial retirement contracts in response to a “high level of interest” from employees in Germany. These contracts would provide workers with alternating “active” and “passive” years, meaning, for example, that a partially-retired employee would work for four out of eight years, according to a pattern agreed to by the worker and his supervisor. Workers born in 1971 or earlier are eligible: Schaeffler expects approximately 20% (around 1,300) of these to accept a partial retirement arrangement.
