Brazil – LatBus, the premier show for passenger transportation in Latin America, will return this month to São Paulo, Brazil between the 11th and 13th. One company that is using the return of the biennial show to good effect is Maxion Wheels , which plans to present its forged aluminium wheels for heavy commercial vehicles for the first time to the South American public. Alongside the wheels, sister company Maxion Structural Components will showcase its latest work on chassis and chassis components for electric vehicles. The new charging hub was opened in June near the town of Padborg, located on the trans-European road network that connects Scandinavia with the Mediterranean. Currently, the Padborg site has four charging bays with up to 400 kilowatts of energy. Milence says the hub will become a “key charging stop” for trucks travelling between the Nordics and central Europe.
The ‘2+4 Euro-PX3' has four axles at the rear and two axles (the “interdolly”) at the front, just behind the fixed neck that connects the trailer to the tractor unit. Nooteboom says that, with the new design, it has widened the “U-trough” or low-floor section of the trailer and enlarged the steering angle, providing more loading space and improving manoeuvrability.
