The Poncha Springs Board of Trustees held a special meeting Jan. 15 to officially settle and release the litigation with the City of Salida regarding the sewer interceptor.

Council will vote on the appointment of two board members, Councilwoman Dominique Naccarato and Corey “Salty” Riggs, to the CHA during a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Jan. 21.

Georgia McNabb sits with her new service dog, Patch Adams, at her home Jan. 16. The cost for Patch is $22,000. McNabb has paid the lion's share but is trying to crowd fund for the last $8,500, through GoFundMe.com and a fundraiser Feb. 2.

The Poncha Springs Board of Trustees will meet with members of Salida City Council at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at Chaffee County Fairgrounds.
