Joey Fulkerson has come a long way since his inaugural concert in the lunchroom at Dover Air Force Base. A ninth grader at Caesar Rodney High School at the time, he performed on guitar with his sister, Patti Fulkerson, and some classmates in the late 1970s.
Recalled Mr. Wilson's childhood friend, Greg Ellingsworth: “Before the music, when we were kids, we used to race go-karts. Junior was always 110% on whatever he did. I had a single-engine go-kart, West Bend, and he always had a double-engine go-kart that would go like 60 miles an hour.”

DOVER — Every other year since 2004, Profundo Bono has produced a musical comedy to raise funds for groups that provide noncriminal legal services to the impoverished of Delaware.
“Vibe Check,” from the Felton jazz vibraphonist and leader of The Joe Baione Vibraphone Experience, contains six original compositions, plus three songs written by his late father, Jim Baione, over 40 years ago. It also features the vocal stylings of his daughter, Alexis Baione.
