It was a busy week across the NFL landscape, with the typical injuries but also the trade deadline. We've started to see some fallout of the early trades, and there will inevitably be more shifting of roles to take into account after Week 10. For now, let's review Week 9.

We're officially in the stretch run of the fantasy regular season, which is hard to believe. It's also time to use the waiver wire in a way specific to your team. For those on the edge of the playoffs or in must-win situations, now is the to stream players to help your roster this week. For those in comfortable positions, look at the bottom of the rosters and speculate on players whose roles could expand over time. We'll try to highlight both options in this week's edition.

For the first time since Kansas, we had a non-playoff driver take the checkered. In both instances, Aric Almirola was the winner. Almirola's win allowed both Cole Custer and Justin Allgaier to get to the Championship race on points. Meanwhile, AJ Allmendinger won at Las Vegas (the first race from the Round of 8) and Austin Hill

It feels like we've hit something of a calm before the storm. Roles are always shifting, but they've seemingly slowed, as so few teams are truly out of playoff contention. That should change in the coming weeks, but for now, we're primarily stuck watching the news to identify key shifts in value. Now, it's time to catch up on the biggest movers from Week 10.

At this point of the season, the waiver wire has two distinct purposes. For those in comfortable playoff position, it's time to fine-tune your roster for a deep run - particularly in FFPC leagues when waivers are cut off during the playoffs. That means stash candidates and handcuffs that could have been ignored earlier in the season should now be considered.

It was another eventful week across the IDP landscape. The positive side of things is that we saw most playing time shifts happen naturally, without injury occurring. There were still a few big injuries, however, highlighted by Alex Anzalone (forearm) in Detroit and perhaps Roquan Smith (hamstring) in Baltimore. Let's jump into those stories and more.
