We are very fortunate to have a healthy population of these magnificent birds.
The last of the migrating birds are on the move so there is plenty of action too. I managed to get pretty close to a couple of red-tailed hawks this past week. The young hawks have left the nests and are out on their own fending for themselves and that also frees up the adults to go out and do what they do best…. hunt.
