It’s the most wonderful time of the year in Southlake. Since 1999, Home For The Holidays has spread cheer throughout Town Square, uplifting spirits and joy among the festive families in attendance. With the 2024 event landing on Nov. 23, here are five things to know before going into this weekend’s seasonal celebration.

GRACE Grapevine’s Christmas Cottage has returned for another season of giving. Every year, the Christmas Cottage helps underprivileged families around the area have a holly, jolly Christmas by offering them toys, home goods and appliances from their donation center at 2705 E. Grapevine Mills Circle, which is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Ishani Gandi has a big heart. Between serving as the treasurer for the Southlake Foundation and volunteering as the youth services philanthropy officer for the American Red Cross North Texas region, the Dragon senior is always putting her best foot forward for those who need it most. Her commitment to others continues this winter with her fundraising efforts towards sickle cell treatments.

On a perfectly blue and sunny Tuesday in November, Southlake’s Town Square’s usually calm Rustin Park is abuzz with activity. In a short eight hours, eight workers will efficiently assemble the myriad pieces into what will soon be instantly recognizable as this year’s iteration of the city’s beloved holiday display.
