“Are you sure we can eat lunch there?” more than one of the regulars asked before we drove to Leesburg to Owen's Fresh Meat Market at 6287 SR 15N, Leesburg. Owen's is a full-service butcher shop that opened in the old John Deere Building less than a year ago. And, yes, the answer is that you can get something at their deli counter or grab a handmade sandwich, bulk goods, soup, or coffee and donuts, and eat at their picnic tables (indoors in the winter).

NORTH WEBSTER — Tippecanoe-Chapman Regional Sewer District has completed its construction of sewer service around the district. This was one of two milestones noted Monday, Jan. 13, at the board's first meeting of 2025.
