COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A middle school student is critically hurt after a self-inflicted shooting at Lindley Middle School on Wednesday, according to the Cobb County School District.

There are several water distribution centers for residents to pick up bottled water.

A positive case was detected in a commercial poultry operation in Elbert County, Georgia, the Department of Agriculture said.

The sheriff's office said no threats were ever made to students or the school staff.

DeKalb Department of Watershed Management said the advisory is still in effect for a small area along Clairmont Road between North Decatur Road and Scott Boulevard.
