A hot day is ahead for all the #1 Dads out there in Las Vegas! Highs will be above normal stretching into the low triple digits.

NORTH LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Temperature in Las Vegas is officially measured at Harry Reid International Airport in the shade.

Major heat continues to be a prominent feature of your forecast as temperatures soar 5-10 degrees above average. Mid-level moisture may contribute to some evening t-storms in Clark County Sunday.

Temperatures will hit highs that are about 10 degrees above normal for the next few days in Las Vegas. Currently, we're tracking highs of 110 Monday, Tuesday Wednesday.

A little bit of active weather popped up in Clark County Tuesday as part of a larger moisture-heavy system that's been hitting the southwest.

Plenty of sunshine and heat on deck for this weekend along with some afternoon breezes. Temperatures remain a few degrees above normal with 109 expected on Saturday and 110 on Sunday.

Mostly warm and dry weather is headed our way for the first week of July, despite monsoon being in full effect in our neighbor state Arizona.
