The Guardians rode a strong performance from Tanner Bibee and a rally against the middle of the Twins bullpen to a 5-1 victory and a split of the four game series.

The Twins jumped out to a four run lead against Tyler Mahle, but thanks to some big home runs against Jorge Alcala in the seventh, the Rangers were able to take a lead late. Although Carlos Santana tied the game in the ninth, a misplayed ball at first base in the 10th allowed the Rangers to secure a walk-off win in the series finale.

Bailey Ober had a great start until Manny Machado prematurely ended his day with a game tying home run. The Twins fought back but ultimately the red-hot Padres offense was too much for the Twins bullpen as San Diego prevailed 7-5.
