Beaumont police are investigating an auto/pedestrian fatality. It happened around 10:30 last night in the northbound lanes of Highway 347. The victim reportedly was in a disturbance and exited the vehicle. He was struck by a vehicle sometime after that. No other information is available. His name has not been released.

Police in Orange have a 13 year old in connection for murder. The juvenile is charged with Monday’s shooting death of 18-year old Demetrious Bruad, of Beaumont. The homicide occurred in the 400 block of Hydrangea, in the Roselawn subdivision in Beaumont.
