On Friday, Nov. 8, Nathan Wright was burning brush when a gas can exploded in his hands and caught him on fire. Wright was severely burned on his back and sides of his body and after driving himself to the fire department, was med-flighted to Huntsville then Birmingham.

On Monday, the Scottsboro City Council held a work session and council meeting at Scottsboro City Hall. On the council meeting, there were seven items set for a vote while the work session had five items for discussion.
