The Truesdale board of Aldermen passed the city’s 2024 tax rate at their Aug. 28 meeting following a public hearing. There was no comment at the public hearing.

The Warren County Commission last week officially moved forward with a senior property tax freeze that will be available beginning next year.

Following the release of expected increases in property values from the County Assessor’s office, the Innsbrook Board of Trustees voted to decrease their tax rate for 2024 at their Aug. 27 special meeting.

The Village of Innsbrook will continue to pay the Warren County Sheriff’s Department for a deputy to attend board of trustee meetings after an agreement was approved at the Aug. 12 board meeting.

Warrenton will host the Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept 21 and while there are plenty of attractions and activities that will remain the same there will be some changes. The event is scheduled to run on Main Street in Warrenton from noon to 9:30 p.m.

The Warrenton Athletic Complex held its first baseball games on the new turf fields earlier this year. Warrenton Director of Operations Jon Struckhoff said the turf has been a marked improvement for the complex and has helped to bring more business to the area.

MK Ranch Bar and Grill is set to open in the old Nike store in the Shoppes at Warrenton early next year.
