Mainly dry and very hot the next few days, with this same weather pattern continuing through this weekend.

Rain chances will remain in the forecast Thursday, but we should trend a bit drier for Friday into the Fourth of July.

We’ll have small rain chances Friday into Independence Day, with a higher chance Sunday. FRIDAY FORECAST

Some dealt with a washout Sunday with pockets of heavy rain, but rain chances will be a bit lower the next few days.

Expect hot and humid conditions with scattered, late-afternoon storms possible, but not necessarily likely.

The chance of wet weather Wednesday will be relatively lower than the upcoming days, with steadily increasing rain chances this weekend.

Today will be partly cloudy with a 40% chance of showers/storms, mainly in the afternoon, highs in the mid 90s.

The unsettled, wet weather pattern will continue through the beginning of the work week, but drier air will move in later this week.

We’ll have off and on showers/storms Tuesday morning, followed by less numerous storms in the afternoon. We’ll trend drier late week into the weekend.

Now that the weather pattern locally will be a bit quieter, higher levels of heat will be in place through the weekend.
