Students in government at Mobridge-Pollock High School have been working on a City Government unit for the past week. Monday was the culminating activity, a mock city council meeting. Prior to this they researched city department budgets, talked with Finance Officer/City Administrator Heather Beck, heard from councilmember Brent Kemnitz and met with department heads at the water plant, sewer plant, streets and police/911.
