Venus continues to shine brightly in the southwest after sunset this week.
The early frosts that affected many lower elevation gardens has still spared those in several higher elevation locations. I revisited Crabtree's Debbie Simpson's garden, this past weekend, to find it still producing cherry tomatoes and bell peppers. She was proud of her efforts and gave me a dozen of her peppers, saying she had plenty. Numerous flowers were still blooming in pots and in her rock garden. She's excited about assembling a purchased greenhouse kit so as to further expand her growing season.
