After one season in Tallahassee with the Florida State Seminoles, Benedictine graduate Luke Kromenhoek is looking for a new home to play college football. It was announced Tuesday that Kromenhoek was entering the transfer portal.

College football bowl games often line up with December commencement. Athletes on the road usually have to video call in. For eight Georgia Southern players, they had the rare opportunity to travel back to Statesboro and walk across the stage despite being in New Orleans for a bowl game.

The New Orleans Bowl kicks off Thursday evening, and Wednesday, the bowl held its annual team luncheon, where Georgia Southern and Sam Houston State shared the same room for the first time.
