The Parker Broncs’ cross country team had two meets last week, including their only home meet of the 2024 season. It was a good week for Angel Salazar and Veronica

These included their first two “official” region matches against two of their 3A West rivals. Although they dropped to 8th from 7th in the Arizona Interscholastic Association state 3A rankings, they found themselves in first place in the 3A West.

Oct. 7 marked the first anniversary of when Gaza-based Hamas terrorists attacked Israel and left over 1,200 people dead and took 250 people hostage.
