| WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI – Two neighborhoods are shocked and horrified after a 40-year-old allegedly broke into his neighbor's house and fatally stabbed an 81-year-old woman.

The assault follows the vandalism of a public art display with pro-Palestine messages and the dispersing of antisemitic flyers outside 40 homes.

While there was no credible information indicating specific danger, the district took extra steps, the superintendent said.

The pastor worked for a church with locations in Ann Arbor, Lansing, Brighton and Livonia. He confessed after the camera was found, a church official said.

The case is still under investigation, police said.

Charges are pending, police said.

| WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI -- A crash with possible fatalities Wednesday morning closed an entrance ramp to westbound M-14.

Michigan State Police did not confirm the ages or genders of those killed.

A Nissan collided with a 2020 Tesla that was entering M-14, causing the Tesla to catch on fire, police said.

Police are investigating the incident as a hate crime, police said.
