As a cold front rolls through Wisconsin Monday the temperatures for the day will be a bit unconventional. Morning temps have stayed mild in the upper 40s and low 50s. We stay on the warmer side through about midday then start to drop with 40s in the afternoon leading to 30s Monday night.

While we had some snow pellets and flurries in the middle of October, the rest of the season has been all snow free. That changes the next 36 hours with some flurries possible on Wednesday and accumulating snow likely on Thursday. Wednesday morning features a few sprinkles or light rain showers then we dry out for midday Wednesday before snow showers and flurries arrives Wednesday mid-afternoon through the evening. The snow might come down quick at times Wednesday afternoon and evening but no accumulation is expected.

The first measurable snow of the season is just about here! A winter weather advisory starts at 6 AM Thursday and goes until Noon. This will be a brief time period of snow, but moderate to heavy snow is expected during this time causing difficult travel right during the heart of the morning commute.
