It's standard practice for voting equipment to be tested before an election. This year was no different. About two weeks before the primary all 23 county clerks in the state went ahead and tested their voting equipment. But this time at least three counties' results were not in accordance with a line in the Wyoming Election Code, according to the Wyoming GOP. They provided evidence for Goshen, Laramie and Albany Counties, but claim other counties also were in violation.

Lloyd Larsen is a Lander state representative. He aligns with more moderate Republicans. Larsen faced Tina Clifford in the primaries and won by over 200 votes. He's held House District Seat 54 since 2013. Wyoming Public Radio's News Director Kamila Kudelska asked Larsen what was surprising to him about the primary results.

More than 122,000 people turned out to vote in Wyoming's primary election. While that's the lowest primary turnout since 2016 , Wyoming Public Radio heard across the state: some Wyomingites were eager for their voices to be heard.
