Two new members will take their seats with the Livermore City Council on Dec. 6, joining a group that will continue to debate open space both outside and within the urban growth boundary (UGB), affordable housing, climate change and completing a new General Plan in the coming year. Planning commissioner Steven Dunbar and Kristie Wang, a former Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District trustee, will take their oaths to represent Districts 3 and 4, respectively. Dunbar and Wang topped their opponents in the November election and will serve for the next four years.
