This family Christmas letter was found in a shoebox in an attic in the Bronx, New York.

“When one door closes another door opens,” as the saying goes. Usually it stops there, sounding like an Ode to Carpentry. But the speaker, Alexander Graham Bell, didn’t leave us with just an adage and a telephone. He went on, “But we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the ones which open for us.”

All this talk about climate change is getting tiresome ‘cause it's just not cool anymore.
