Chicago-based developer Base 3 Real Estate has unveiled plans for a new mixed-use development at 750 W. North. Located in Lincoln Park, the project site is situated just east of the intersection of W. North Ave and N. Halsted St with the CTA Brown Line L tracks curving around the north and east boundaries of the site.

A tower crane permit has been issued for a mixed-use development planned at 410 N. Elizabeth. Planned by developers Mark Goodman & Associates and Weldon Development Group, the permit will serve the first tower of their approved two-tower plan. Fronting N.

A demolition permit has been issued to make way for a residential development at 2701 W. Touhy. Planned by Azaad LLC, the project site is located at the southwest corner of W. Touhy Ave and N. Washtenaw Ave. The demolition permit will allow for the clearing of the existing one-story building that currently occupies the site.

The Chicago City Council has approved the redevelopment of the existing historic building at 65 E. Wacker into apartments. Planned by Mavrek Development and ACRES Commercial Realty Corp, the building stands at the intersection of E. Wacker Pl and N. Garland Ct near the Chicago Riverwalk.

The Chicago City Council has approved a proposed residential conversion at 811 W. Evergreen. Located along W. Evergreen Ave just west of N. Halsted St, the project will adaptively reuse an existing vintage timber loft building. Honore Properties is the developer behind the proposal.

The Chicago City Council has approved the demolition of the existing structure at 906 W. Fulton as part of a mixed-use rehab planned. Proposed by Midwest Property Group LTD, the project site is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of W. Fulton Market and N. Peoria St.

The Chicago City Council has approved a package of zoning changes to allow for the construction of the Red Line Extension. The RLE is a transit equity project that fulfills a commitment to the Far South Side by significantly improving transportation to this part of the city with 5.6 miles of new track and four new fully accessible rail stations at 103rd, 111th, Michigan near 116th and 130th Street.

Alderman Matt Martin of the 47th Ward has announced his support for a mixed-use development planned at 2053 W. Irving Park. Located on a midblock site, the property is situated on the south side of the street between N. Hoyne Ave and N. Seeley Ave. With a single-family home currently occupying the site, developer Mangan Builders will demolish the existing structure to make way for the new development.
