CUMBERLAND – Over the last several years since the pandemic hit, Cumberland school officials have had concerns about obtaining valid feedback on how to improve schools. They say they've seen decreased participation in the annual SurveyWorks questionnaire.

PAWTUCKET – After it was abruptly closed to the public last week to ensure safety following a cracked power line, the track and field at Pariseau Field (or the MCCoy annex) in Pawtucket was reopened yesterday, once officials took down the power line on Tuesday, according to City Spokesperson Grace Voll.

CENTRAL FALLS – When asked to name one concern they have about the city and how it could be fixed, more than one attendee of the Central Falls Community Collaborative's monthly meeting were quick to say parking, along with housing, elder and child safety, and the city budget.

PAWTUCKET – During the Pawtucket Heritage Alliance's public forum to discuss the city's historic resources and buildings last week, coordinator Barbara Zdravesky said most of the conversation revolved around Pawtucket City Hall, which she said is the number one building in the city under threat of destruction.

CUMBERLAND – In honor of the acclaimed Netflix series “Wednesday,” Cumberland High School's Music Department has chosen “The Addams Family Musical” as its first theater production since the pandemic.

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Though she's passed by the site where she almost lost her life 30 years ago many times, Cumberland native Ruth Wolowicz says she hasn't stopped to look at where her car landed after flipping over multiple times off Route 123 west in Attleboro until now.
