A weak front will drift into the region giving us another surge of day air. So our days will remain on the warm side of things and we'll pick up a north wind. Look for sunny and hot days and comfortable evening.

Headline: Doesn't fell like October.

A the mass of tropical moisture moves closer to the Crossroads you will see and increase in humidity. That in turn will lead to a few showers around the region over the weekend. The highest chance is on Satuday. Most of the showers will be along the coast with fewer showers in inland areas. This map shows the total of rainfall expected through Sunday.

We in Texas are going to get some very nice weather while our friend from Florida are under the gun. Look for sunny and dry days with highs staying in the low 90's. A couple of dry fronts will continue the north winds all week long.

We continue on the back side of the Hurricane and the north wind is dry. We have gone now 30 days with no rain and none is on the horizon. Expect the sunny and hot weather through the weekend.

While Milton is gone, high pressure and north east winds continue to put us on the warm side of things. Highs will stay in the low 90's through the weekend.

Headline: Cool front coming this week. It's a bit warm for October but some cooler air is on it's way. A cool front will come in on Wednesday and actually drop the temperatures into the mid 80's! Not exactly cold but at least cooler.

Headline: Not So Hot Front coming in. We have a frontal system coming in tonight that will give us a big break in the temperatures. It may finally feel like Fall. Highs tomorrow will be affected by the north wind coming in and our highs should stay neat 80 degrees. That's a whole lot better.

Headline: Clearing skies and cooler days.

Things are looking good after that cool front this week. Nights will be cool and days will be in the not-so-hot category. The tropics are still stirring but no storms are expected to affect the US mainland.
