Blue Earth County election officials are explaining what led to an brief error in their election results. Results from 17,000 test ballots were initially uploaded to the Secretary of State's website on Tuesday night in Blue Earth County, and Deputy Administrator Michael Stalberger says the error was noticed right away.

Four are charged in what's being described as a sprawling sex trafficking ring in Hennepin County. Prosecutors have identified at least 13 victims, one of which is deceased. "Each of these four individuals played a significant role in the operation of the sex trafficking scheme, and caused significant harm," says County Attorney Mary Moriarty.
Governor Tim Walz signed an executive order on Tuesday to prevent mining in the Boundary Waters. The moves comes after Congress ended a 20-year mining ban in the Superior National Forest where the BWCAW is located.

A federal judge in Texas is expected to rule Wednesday on a request to have an ICE agent extradited to Minnesota.
