Two women are being held on probable cause murder at the Hennepin County Jail after an Army veteran died from injuries suffered during an attempted car theft in Minneapolis.

Minneapolis-based Target announcing Wednesday that first quarter fiscal earnings and revenue topped expectations, with reported net sales growing more than 6% year-over-year. The retail giant posted its best sales growth in 4 years. "A single good quarter has never been our goal," added CEO Michael Fiddelke.

Australia is suing the Minnesota-based company 3M for over $1.4 billion due to contamination from “forever chemicals” in firefighting foam at defense bases. 3M plans to contest the claim, stating it stopped selling the foam in Australia two decades ago but that the Defense Department continued using it longer.
