The Black Owned Business (BOB) Festival returns on Saturday, November 30 from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. at 55 N. Fifth Ave. — the large open lot behind Hotel Congress.

The menu features Mediterranean-inspired dishes with light, fresh, and unprocessed ingredients from sandwiches to pizzas, to bowls and more. Along with the new seasonal menu, Pita Jungle is also introducing a brand-new option for diners — half an entrée and half a soup or salad combo.

Plus, an additional 100,000 lights twinkle from other trees in the MMC Plaza at 11555 W. Civic Center Dr. The tree lighting ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. with an encore at 8:30 p.m., marking the official start of the holiday festivities.

“The Story of Arizona’s Good Food,” a feature-length documentary produced by Local First Arizona premiered on November 25 on Arizona PBS.
