Aston Martin has unveiled the Vanquish 25, a limited-edition model celebrating 25 years of the iconic nameplate. Only 50 examples will be built, blending original design elements with the latest engineering. Created by Q by Aston Martin, it features exclusive Q Skye Silver paint, bespoke exterior detailing, and a refined interior with unique trim and embroidered logos. Mechanically, it retains the powerful 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 from the 2024 third-generation Vanquish, delivering 835PS and a 214mph top speed. This flagship grand tourer, a pinnacle of Aston Martin's front-engined line-up, will debut at Monterey Car Week, with deliveries starting in late 2026.

British engineering giant JCB has set a new world land speed record of 406.320 mph with its hydrogen-powered Hydromax at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats. Driven by Wing Commander Andy Green, the vehicle recorded an average of 406.320 mph across two runs, making it the fastest hydrogen-powered vehicle ever built. This achievement comfortably eclipsed the previous FIA hydrogen internal combustion record and JCB's own 2006 diesel land speed benchmark. The Hydromax utilizes two production-based hydrogen combustion engines, showcasing zero-emission technology from JCB's $130 million hydrogen program. JCB Chairman Anthony Bamford emphasized that the record proves hydrogen works today at the highest level with zero emissions.
