KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A light snow event is expected to move through the Kansas City area late Thursday into early Friday morning, with accumulations ranging from a dusting to up to three inches in some locations.

It will be a cold weekend with lows in the mid-teens on Saturday and some fog possible in the early morning.
