College Basketball tipped off last night, and while the biggest games were clearly Gonzaga vs. Baylor and Ohio State vs. Texas, one huge storyline that is unfolding before our very eyes is how Duke is going to not only start, but they are going to feature two cold ass freshman white boys. By now, Cooper Flagg has become a household name (if your household follows basketball recruiting) because of his performance against Team USA this summer and all of the hype surrounding the likely future #1 pick. But then they trot out this kid, Kon Knueppel, from Wisconsin and after a 22 point debut in which he was firing daggers from what seemed like the parking lot, I don't know how there's going to be a more fun to watch team this season than Duke. These kids led their team in minutes, points, and will ultimately be the deciding factor in if they make the Final Four or not. And I'm not going to beat around the bush....they're 17 and18 year old white boys. This is going to be electric. BUT, my question is this: are we watching them hoping they win? Or are we going to make them villains? The jury is currently out on that, but I'm intrigued to say the least. I think Cooper Flagg is very likable, and while I think Knueppel's game is more fun, I do think he has a punchable face. I think they become fan favorites across the country this year, but Titus and TJ feel that they're both one minor incident / situation from the entire world labeling them as the classic Duke villain that everyone loves to hate.

Look I'm not one to scratch my head unless it itches, and I don't dance unless I hear music, but at what point is ESPN going to start a countdown for the date when the Cavs break the Warrior 73-9 regular season record? For the loyal listeners of the Mark Titus Show, I've been talking about it since quite literally June that the Cavs decision to fire JB Bickerstaff and retain the Core 4 (Mitchell, Garland, Mobley, and Allen) would be a problem for the rest of the East this year.....but 9 games into the season, who can blame me for setting my sights on something higher than the 3 seed?

Let me take you all back to Monday, August 12th of this very year. I'm not sure if that seems like just yesterday, or if it feels like an eternity to you, but the fact of the matter is that it was precisely 87 days ago. Less than 3 months from this very shit I'm taking while I write this in my Notes App, Florida State opened up as the #10 college football team in the entire country. Now, we all know preseason rankings are ultimately predicated on what you return and how you did last season, so I'm not saying this was factual (clearly not), but the Seminoles were coming off an undefeated regular season and weren't expected to drop off THAT bad.

Listen I know I was on about a blog-a-day pace about Connor Stalions for a little while, but if you're noticed, I've stopped talking about him completely ever since he hoodwinked the Bussin Boys into being his mouthpiece full of lies. Great interview, don't get me wrong, but we're just going to trust everything the guy says and paint him as a cat-and-mouse genius without putting his feet to the fire about this?

Look I'm not going to beat around the bush here. Something doesn't add up in this year's Heisman Race and if no one else will say it, I will have to be the bad guy that upsets the establishment once again. Don't get me wrong, Travis Hunter is an excellent football player that deserves to be on the shortest list of contenders. Ashton Jeanty is putting up monster numbers for Boise State, meaning he should be in the discussion as well. And then the only other person who seems to be within actual striking distance of the award is Dillion Gabriel, who is having a great season for the #1 team in the country, the Oregon Ducks.

So it was announced that Ohio State (currently ranked #2 in the country) will be hosting Indiana (currently overrated at #5 in the country) in two weeks time with a prestigious Big Noon Kickoff. That means that Ohio State, who played a grand total of one night home game this season against the vaunted Western Michigan Broncos, will end their regular season having played six straight noon games:
