KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Several people have reached out to WVLT on the “What's Driving You Crazy” form that left lane hogging is an issue they see on the roads.
Preliminary numbers show there were 45 deadly crashes on Knoxville roads in 2024, and in those 45 crashes, 52 people died due to a handful of multi-fatal crashes.
City of Knoxville Senior Communications Manager Paige Travis said the engineering team is currently working on analyzing which roads need the most attention in the upcoming budget year.
