Eccentrica has taken its reimagining of the Lamborghini Diablo one step further with the new V12 Roadster. This is the second creation from the San Marino company founded by entrepreneur and Lamborghini collector Emanuel Colombini.

Marc Philipp Gemballa GmbH may carry one of the most recognisable names in Porsche tuning history, but the company is very much its own operation. Founded by Uwe Gemballa’s son, Marc Philipp Gemballa, the boutique German manufacturer focuses on highly limited, comprehensively re-engineered collector cars rather than conventional tuning. Its second model, the new Marsien GT, takes that philosophy in a more road-focused direction.

CD players are enjoying an unexpected design revival, and Syitren’s new RM1 may be one of the prettiest examples yet. Rather than hiding the disc behind a tray or lid, the RM1 places it on full display inside a transparent acrylic frame, turning the spinning CD, optical mechanism and exposed electronics into part of the visual experience. Mounted on a wall, it looks closer to kinetic artwork than conventional hi-fi.

Gordon Murray has revealed the S1, a new V12 supercar developed by Gordon Murray Special Vehicles as a more refined counterpart to the extreme S1 LM. Although technically a new creation, its philosophy has an obvious connection to the original McLaren F1 road car, combining a central driving position, three-seat layout, naturally aspirated V12 and manual gearbox with a strong focus on fast, long-distance road driving.

Cadillac has taken its endurance-racing expertise in a more exclusive direction with the new V-One Concept. Conceived as a one-of-one, single-seat performance study, it brings together the brand’s V-Series identity and the engineering foundations of the V-Series.R prototype racer, exploring how genuine competition hardware might translate into a highly personalised customer car.

Few pieces of audio equipment have crossed between hi-fi, club culture and popular design quite like the Technics SL-1200. First introduced in 1972, the direct-drive turntable became an essential tool for generations of DJs and remains instantly recognisable more than half a century later. To celebrate 55 years of the series, Technics has created the SL-1200 55th Anniversary Edition.

Gunther Werks has spent the past nine years finding new ways to push the air-cooled Porsche 911 beyond its original brief. With the GXR-Evo, the Californian company has gone further still. Based on the 993-generation platform, it is the company’s fastest naturally aspirated creation to date, built around a simple idea: strip away anything unnecessary and sharpen everything that remains.

Few circuits carry the history or reputation of the Nürburgring. Opened in 1927, its Nordschleife remains one of the world’s most demanding stretches of tarmac, with steep gradients, changing surfaces and around 300 metres of elevation change. Porsche has raced, tested and broken records there for decades, making the circuit a natural subject for a special 911 as it approaches its centenary.

Spyker has never been interested in building sports cars quite like anyone else. Now, the Dutch marque is beginning another chapter with the C8 Preliator XXV Coupé, a new flagship that combines its familiar aviation-inspired design with 800 hp, a manual gearbox and old-fashioned coachbuilding.
