We never see the same film twice because we bring a different state of mind and set of circumstances to every viewing -- flying monkeys that might have terrified us as children become a source of camp delight to us as young adults. They might later become bittersweet signifiers of our lost youth, reminders of a time when we were callow enough for nightmares.
