Months after new and legacy restaurants wiped out on Las Olas Boulevard, four new eateries around Fort Lauderdale’s luxe restaurant row are getting ready to take their place.

The former Amar Mediterranean Bistro has tripled in size and will reopen across the street in Delray Beach on Friday, Nov. 1, with a new name and menu: Amar Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar.

After 28 years in South Florida — 19 of them in Fort Lauderdale — Christina Wan’s Mandarin House is scheduled to permanently shut down after dinner service later this month.
