Last month, Minneapolis singer, rapper, and producer ZORA announced her new album, BELLAdona. Following her 2021 debut Z1, BELLAdona will be out January 17 and features the already-shared single “VIDEOGURL.” Today, ZORA is back with another album preview called “head2toe,” which press materials describe as being “about reclaiming joy and pleasure after experiencing sexual assault.”

Fresh off of touring with Wallows in North America and Olivia Rodrigo in Australia, New Zealand alt-pop player BENEE has a brand-new single for us. Titled “Animal,” this new one follows September's “ Sad Boiii .” Both will show up on her forthcoming album, which drops next year.

Back in August, Sam Fender debuted two new songs live: “People Watching” and “Nostalgia Lies.” We knew that the UK rocker was planning a follow-up to his 2021 sophomore album, Seventeen Going Under , and on Wednesday he confirmed that said new album would be titled People Watching and drop in February 2025. Today, a studio version of the title track is out; it was partially recorded in London with produced Markus Dravs and also in LA with the War On Drugs' Adam Granduciel.

It was rumored, and now confirmed: Charli XCX will in fact launch a BRAT arena tour next spring. Beginning in late April 2025, the US tour will roll through Austin, Minneapolis, Rosemont, and Brooklyn (for two dates). Earlier in the week, we got to hear Moses Sumney and ANOHNI teaming up to cover “Is It Cold In The Water,” a track released by SOPHIE six years ago. (That one's on the just-released compilation.) Today, coincidentally, Rahim Redcar (formerly known as Christine And The Queens) has also shared a tribute to the late pop singer and producer. Redcar is covering “It's OK To Cry,” which appeared on SOPHIE's 2018 debut album, Oil Of Every Pearl's Un-Insides

New York indie-poppers TOLEDO just shared the single “ Zelda ” in October, and prior to that we got April's EP. Today, for Grand Jury's ongoing 10th Anniversary project , where the label asks their bands, current and classic, to cover songs from the catalog, TOLEDO are back to cover Jordana's 2020 track “I Wanna.”

Pop-punk incubator Hopeless Records has been celebrating its 30th anniversary all year. In addition to their traveling Hopeless Museum Exhibit (and the Rock Hall's semi-permanent exhibit), the label has been promoting its Hopelessly Devoted To You singles series, where artists like Sweet Pill and Pinkshift put their own spin on Hopeless classics. Today Illuminati Hotties' Sarah Tudzin has shared her cover of Neck Deep's 2015 track “December.”
