ABERDEEN – In a team effort, the Bartahatchie, Prairie and Wren Rural Community Development Clubs are coordinating the inaugural We Fight Together 5K run/walk Oct. 12. Registration begins at 7 a.m. at the Monroe County Extension Office, located at 517 Hwy 145 N, and the race begins at 8 a.m.

AMORY – Through a partnership between Amory Main Street and Community Bank, models will show off fall styles from several local boutiques while raising funds to revive an Amory staple. Proceeds from Oct. 17’s fashion show will go towards a revitalized tree at the former Amory Garment location.
