A new storm crosses the region Friday evening into Saturday morning with accumulating snow. Then, MUCH COLDER air arrives Saturday night and lasts through next week.

Friday brings the next best chance for some rain showers, along with a breeze. A cooler pattern comes our way for next week.

Next week we see a good chance for some wet weather down the road on Tuesday and Wednesday.

We're going back to winter for the next 36 hours as colder air has returned to Southeast Michigan.

A mild stretch continues well into next week with more unsettled weather likely for the middle part of next week.

Friday: Very warm and humid with more spotty afternoon and evening storms with a high near 90.
