More clouds are in the forecast for Sunday with the approach of our next cold front leading to some showers Sunday evening into Monday and Tuesday. Temps next week are more fall-like.

As Hurricane Helene makes landfall Thursday night across the Big Bend area of northern Florida, we will get a tropical breeze from the storm Friday across lower Michigan.

FOX 2 For the rest of Thursday evening and overnight, it will be mostly clear and cool with dry condtions and a low of 41.

Our next weather system brings some rain showers to the area late Wednesday night into Thursday.

A colder pattern will stick around through the weekend. People in southeastern Michigan should expect some sprinkles and flurries from Wednesday night into Thursday. More rain showers are likely on Friday.

DETROIT (FOX 2) A very cold pattern continues for the Great Lakes region into next week, with the best chance for some additional lake-effect snow in Southeast Michigan coming Friday evening.

Low pressure crosses the Great Lakes tonight and tomorrow with periods of light snow.

New Year's Eve is looking like a messy one in Southeast Michigan with a band of winter weather expected to arrive Tuesday morning.
