Legendary rock/country/blues/funk band Little Feat's latest studio album — and first in 12 years — "Sam's Place " was released in May. This year has also seen the re-release of Little Feat's classic 1974 album "Feats Don't Fail Me Now" to celebrate the recording's 50th anniversary.

Flip Circus will bring its red-and-white tent to the Auburn Mall from Aug. 23 to Sept 3, showcasing an international cast of performers, including clowns, jugglers and acrobats — and no animals.

Worcester artist and videographer Curtis Kariuki's journey has been long and winding. As a senior at Doherty Memorial High School in 2016, he put together a video full of drone shots of the city skyline that went viral online. After graduating, he and almost a dozen artist friends turned a school bus into an RV and drove across the country to aim for fame in Los Angeles, and they made big connections in the music industry, touring with artists such as Lil Yachty and Post Malone until the COVID-19 pandemic, and documenting every show. Throughout the ups and downs, Kariuki kept his camera rolling, capturing moments for a documentary he initially planned as a showcase of Worcester's young creatives. That documentary, "The Rare," will premiere Aug. 24 at the Worcester BrickBox Theater after a pop-up by designer raremxbb. In a promotional video, a voice can be heard saying, "This not no ordinary documentary. Seven years, bro? Everyone around here has been like, 'When is he dropping it?'" The answer is now. (MT)
