Sasha and Lucas Coenen took advantage of a break in the action in Europe to visit Southwick, Massachusetts and the iconic sand track at The Wick 338. Despite that, Jett Lawrence [#1] made his return to the top step of the podium for his third win of the season. In the 250SMX Class, ascending Belgian talent and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider Sacha Coenen [#109], the MXGP points leader of the MX2 division, put on a show with a dominant, highlight reel performance in just his second ever Pro Motocross race with a 1-1 sweep of the motos.
Last week we got a brand new Moto Morini Vettore 450 to test. This is the second Moto Morini that we have had in recent months. The first was the new XCape 1200, which turned out to be a whole lot of motorcycle. It was so big and powerful that riding it any distance off-road was intimidating. The 450 is far more of a dirt-oriented ADV bike. It's a twin cylinder 450 that's fairly lightweight, loaded with features and really well priced at $6499.
This weekend we got to ride and hang out with Damon Bradshaw at the Yankee Fork Rendezvous in Challis, Idaho. It was a trail ride organized by Scot Harden and Rodney Smith. Damon is currently a brand ambassador for Yamaha, but that wasn't why he was there. He just loves to ride.
